ITSA Inauguration

ITSA Inauguration marked the official starting point for the fresh events by the new Association Members of 2025 IT batch. The event started by lighting Diyas and workshiping God Ganesha and Ma Saraswati. Dr B.S. Yelure Sir and Prof. Mule Mam were called upon stage for laying the foundation of the auspicious moment. All the students of the IT department were invited for the Inauguration of the ITSA. Introduction of Association Members occurred following by the Speech of Secretory Sanket Deshmukh and Ladies Representative Nikita Nagare as an official regiment for the position. The complete ITSA calendar containing the different activities and the dates were delivered for the IT students increasing the excitement of the students and expecting more participation for the future events.

 
ITSA Falicitation

Following the inauguration, the IT Fest transitioned to a celebration of excellence with the ITSA Prize Distribution Ceremony. Here, the college acknowledged the exceptional achievements of students who have demonstrated brilliance in GATE examination 2024. The students who got placements in 2024 batch were called upon the stage for felicitation and praised for the exceptional achievements in their carrier. Each student delivered their unique journey and told about the struggle to get here addressing some advice to the fellow juniors and fellow students. GATE rankers were felicitated by the HOD sir and congratulated them for their future journey.

Machine Learning Workshop

The IT Student’s Association (ITSA) organized a Machine Learning Workshop for all students of the college, under the banner of Avishkar-envision to reality. The workshop was held on the 6th and 7th of April, 2024, and was open to students from 1st to 4th year. The event took place in the IT Department of Government College of Engineering Karad (GCEK). The workshop was conducted by Swapnil Mane, a Doctoral PMRF Research Scholar from IIT Jodhpur, and coordinated by Assistant Professor Pooja Sutar. The workshop covered various machine learning techniques, algorithms, and their applications, providing students with hands-on experience and valuable insights into the field.

Tech Talk Series

The IT Student’s Association (ITSA) hosted the Senior Tech Talk, inviting some of the most brilliant minds from our college. These industry veterans shared their invaluable insights and expertise on a compelling IT topic. The thought-provoking discussions provided practical advice and a deeper understanding of the current trends shaping the IT world, leaving attendees inspired and informed. The event took place on the 22nd of March, 2024, in the I1 classroom of the IT Department at Government College of Engineering Karad (GCEK). 

IT Intelligence Quest

The IT Student’s Association (ITSA) conducted the "IT Intelligence Quest Challenge" in the IT Department, where every student from the department enthusiastically participated. This aptitude test was designed to assess and enhance the students' knowledge and skills in Information Technology. The timed assessment evaluated their understanding of core IT principles, highlighting areas of strength and opportunities for further learning. The event fostered a spirit of healthy competition, encouraging students to showcase their abilities while gaining valuable insights into their academic progress. The "IT Intelligence Quest Challenge" not only tested their IT acumen but also provided a platform for students to network, collaborate, and connect with peers and faculty, paving the way for future academic and professional growth.
