The state government of Maharashtra has issued no objection certificate (NOC) to this institute to become Autonomous. The state government has also nominated the Board of Management (BOM) for governance of the institute Vide GR No. DBLUBP 2010/ (218/10)/ TE-2 Dt. 25 April 2011.
